DNow 2.0 will be a one day event on Saturday, July 20th. It will be hosted by FBC Tucumcari. Everything will start at 9:30 a.m. and conclude at 6:30 p.m. So, while DNow 1.0 was a two day event, DNow 2.0 will be a one day event. However, participants will be going through the same material and will receive the same t-shirt as with DNow 1.0. Everything will essentially be the same except for the event being a one day event.
The theme of DNow 2.0 is "Follower." The focus of the day will be to encourage students to commit themselves to becoming fully devoted followers of Jesus. Watch the video below to get a sense of what the Follower DNow is all about.
Our preacher for this event will be Steve Kulback (pictured below), pastor of FBC Logan. Steve has served as pastor of FBC Logan for over 24 years.
Music will be provided by the DNow Band from Highland Baptist Church in Clovis (pictured below). They are (from left to right): Brandon Boydstun, Megan Kelley, Tyler Kelley, and Deidra Coker.
The cost for participants is $40 per student, with sponsors attending for free. The $40 fee will cover the cost for materials, t-shirts, and the two meals that will be served that day. Please make your check out to Tri-Area Baptist Association and mail it by Wednesday, July 12th to: Tri-Area Baptist Association 1100 W. Manana Clovis, NM 88101.
Also, churches will need to register, so we will know how many t-shirts and materials to order. The deadline for group registration is Monday, July 1st.
