On Saturday, September 23, 2003, Dr. Joe Bunce, Pastor of FBC Ft Sumner and former Executive director and Lead Missionary for the Baptist Convention of New Mexico, led a group of 12 Tri-Area pastors in a preaching workshop. Dr. Bunce spoke about preaching for life-change and how to conduct a funeral sermon.
The workshop was held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at FBC Melrose. The ladies of the church provided a lunch and snacks for the group. The workshop was conducted in three sessions.
There was difficulty getting Dr. Bunce's computer to "talk" with the projector, so he simply turned his computer around so participants could see the screen as he spoke.
